Timeline: 2381-2400



  • February. The Borg invade the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. They eradicate the populations of many worlds, including Deneva, Nausicaa, Qo'noS, Rhandaarel, and Risa. Alonis, Andor, and Vulcan also suffer severe losses.
  • The USS Aventine engages in battle with the Borg, and Captain Dexar is killed. Commander Ezri Dax (31) is promoted to Captain and assumes command of the ship. She poaches Commander Samaritan Bowers (), Dr. Simon Tarses, and Lieutenant Mikaela Leishman () from Deep Space 9 as first officer, chief medical officer, and chief engineer respectively.1
  • The Borg destroy Starbase 234. Station commander Admiral Owen Paris is among those killed.

Captain Ben Sisko returns to Starfleet and assumes command of the USS New York and engages the Borg at Alonis, alongside the USS James T. Kirk. Captain Elias Vaughn is knocked into a coma, and both ships are rendered unsalvageable.
April 7. Natasha Miana Riker-Troi is born to Deanna Troi and Will Riker.
The USS Voyager is among the ships attempting to cut off the Borg at the Azure Nebula. The ship is severely damaged, and Lieutenant Commander Jarem Kaz and Lieutenant Akolo Tare are killed.
The Caeliar and Erika Hernandez team with the crew of Enterprise-E, Titan, and Aventine to dissolve the Borg Collective.
Annika Hansen and Icheb, along with all other former Borg, are fully un-assimilated from the Collective.
The Typhon Pact is founded by Romulan Star Empire, Tholian Assembly, Breen Confederacy, Gorn Hegemony, Kinshaya Sacred Order, and Tzenkethi Coalition.
May 11. Rene Jacques Robert Francois Picard is born to Beverly Crusher and Jean-Luc Picard aboard the USS Enterprise-E.
Ensign Aytar Gwyn graduates from Starfleet Academy.
June. Project Full Circle, a fleet of slipstream-equipped ships, travels to the Delta Quadrant. Commanded by Admiral Willem Batiste traveling aboard the flagship USS Voyager (under the command of Captain Afsarah Eden) as well as the newly-launched starships Esquiline and Quirinal (both Vesta-class), Curie, Hawking, and Planck (all three Merian-class), Achilles (Mulciber-class), Demeter (Theophrastus-class), and the prototype Galen-class USS Galen, a holographic ship. The holographic Doctor retires from his Think Tank to join the fleet aboard Galen, where he is joined by Commander Reginald Barclay. Lieutenant (j.g.) Sharak joins Voyager's crew as chief medical officer, Lieutenant Nancy Conlon joins as chief engineer, and Ensign Aytar Gwyn joins as conn officer. Lieutenant Vorik transfers to chief engineer of Hawking.
Lieutenant Commander B'Elanna Torres and her daughter Miral are found in a slipstream-enabled shuttle, and join the Full Circle fleet.
Admiral Willem Batiste returns to his people, the Groundskeepers. Captain Afsarah Eden is named fleet commander. Captain Chakotay resumes his position as Voyager captain.
Admiral Kathryn Janeway is resurrected by q. She returns to Starfleet, replacing Captain Afsarah Eden as head of the Delta Quadrant mission after the loss of many ships, and Eden's transformation into an anti-Q destroyer.


  • Empress Donatra is captured by the Romulan Star Empire's forces. The Imperial Romulan State is dissolved and reabsorbed into the Empire.

Donatra kills herself.
Late January. Romulan Praetor Tal'Aura dies. She is actually assassinated by the Tzenkethi, though this is unknown.
February. Gell Kamemor is named Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire.
Commander Ro Laren is promoted to Captain.
April. A Typhon Pact operation by rogue elements and the Breen government results in the theft of the plans for slipstream drive from Utopia Planitia, with the deaths of several Starfleet officers.
The Doctor (sixth incarnation) and Flip Jackson (2012) follow a Time Lord distress call to one of the displaced alternate Earths, and find it a plot by Sil and his ally Cordelia Crozier to experiment on the Doctor and make a panacea, while Crozier wants revenge for the death of her father. With the help of two scientists, the Doctor and Flip manage to free the former UK's population from their corporate overlords. Crozier learns that Sil actually killed her father before she dies.
August. Sarina Douglas arrives on Deep Space 9 and is given a commission of Lieutenant. She and Julian Bashir go on a mission for Starfleet Intelligence to a Breen world, where they destroy the Breen's efforts to recreate slipstream.
October. Andor secedes from the United Federation of Planets.
December 5. A conference on Talar results in a protest by the Talarian female underclass and Talar's withdrawal from negotiations into joining the Khitomer Alliance.


August. The Cardassian Union formally joins the Khitomer Alliance.
Space station Deep Space 9 is destroyed in an attack by semi-rogue Typhon Pact agents.
Tal Shiar Director Sela commits suicide while in custody.


Gaven Myran graduates from Starfleet Academy with the rank of Ensign.
June. Breen Domo Brex resigns from office after a vote of no confidence. He is replaced as domo by Pran.


  • April 6. A group of artificial intelligences suddenly massacre and destroy a fleet of ships in development to help the Romulans in the evacuation of portions of the Romulan Empire before a stellar disaster. The Utopia Planitia Shipyards are destroyed, with thousands of Federation citizens killed.2
  • August 27. At the ceremony for the launch of the new Deep Space 9, Federation President Nanietta Bacco (92) is assassinated.3 The assassination is orchestrated by Bajoran Federation Councillor Ishan Anjar, conspiring with the Cardassian extremist True Way group.4
  • Titanian scientists set off a warp bomb, which destroys the warp subspace in the Elia sector. Crippling the Lesser Dominion fleet, they sue for peace. Unfortunately, it sets interstellar commerce back centuries in the region, and Braal's economy collapses. Thus relations between Braal and Titan deteriorate.

Ishan Anjar is named Federation President pro tem.
Rakena Garan resigns as Castellan of the Cardassian Union. Elim Garak is elected Castellan.
Dr. Julian Bashir defects to Andor, administering a genetic therapy that results in the curing of the Andorian genetic instability causing their population decline. In the aftermath, the regressive government of Andor is forced to resign due to their attempts at preventing the cure from reaching the planet.
Andor is readmitted to the United Federation of Planets.
Captain Will Riker is promoted to Admiral, and reassigned to Starfleet Command.
Federation President pro tem Ishan Anjar is discovered to be a Cardassian spy in decades-long cover, and the mastermind behind the assassination of Nan Bacco.


  • June 19. Annika Hansen comes to rescue her son after his abduction from the USS Coleman. Icheb, tortured with the removal of his Borg implants, is mortally wounded, and Seven shoots him to end his suffering.5


The planet Romulus is destroyed.
Federation Ambassador Spock flies a specialized starship during the Romulus crisis, which is transported to an alternate quantum reality, and Spock is considered lost.


  • Akosh is admitted to the United Federation of Planets.


  • The Doctor (fifth incarnation) and Nyssa end up on Vortis, where they encounter the Zarbi out of control. Meeting a Menoptera scientist and his daughter, they are onhand as a pair of humans merge and become a new Zarbi hybrid race.
  • The Doctor ("eleventh" incarnation) and Amy Pond (2010) land on the planet Bollywood where a robot muse forces people to dance and sing. Together with the robot, they stave off an alien invasion.


  • The Doctor (seventh incarnation), Ace McShane, and Hex Schofield () spend several months on Colony 34, eventually helping to overthrow its false Premier.
