With the help of an ancient displaced Edwina "Eddie" McCrimmon, the Doctor and Master take away the Sild's time-manipulation abilities, ending the invasion. The Master is trapped in a collapsing world, while the Doctor and a regenerated Eddie return to the present. Later, the Master returns to the present to be captured by UNIT again.3
