Timeline: 1451-1475





  • A young physician named Lisa comes to a castle in Wallachia seeking to learn from the famed mysterious being living there. The being, a soul-clone of the future vampire Dracula, is impressed by her brazenness, and decides to take her on as a student and not kill her and drink her blood.1



  • June 17-July 2. The Doctor (fifth incarnation), Peri Brown (21), and Erimem (21) arrive in Wallachia during the Ottoman invasion. First meeting Prince Radu the Handsome (26), the Doctor befriends him. Erimem and Peri get caught up in Prince Vlad Dracula's () camp, and eventually Erimem agrees to marry him for the sake of her friends. The Doctor and Peri continue to try and save Erimem, and eventually, facing defeat, Vlad releases Erimem from her vow.2


  • Brainiac () surreptitiously sends irradiated Kryptonian ore to Daxam, knowing that its radiation will be fatal to the Kryptonian populace. 99.5% of the population are killed, but the survivors possess an anomalous immunity to the radiation. They do, however, possess a fatal allergy to lead, which will not be known for over 500 years.


  • October 19. The Crowns of Castile and Aragon and united upon the marriage of Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon. This is later considered the time of the creation of the Kingdom of Spain.3

  • In Târgoviște, Wallachia, Dr. Lisa Tepes is burned at the stake for witchcraft due to her medical practice. Her husband, the pre-awoken vampire soul-clone Dracula, upon returning home and finding it burnt to the ground, learns of his wife's murder. He manifests in the flames in the square in Târgoviște, and gives the people the warning that they have a year to prepare for his causing the destruction of all Wallachia. After, Lisa and Dracula's hybrid son, Alucard, tries to convince his father not to do harm the innocent, and is attacked for his troubles.6
  • December 25. Radu the Handsome (40), Voivode of Wallachia, dies.
