Biography

A young Scotsman during the Jacobin uprising, piper Jamie McCrimmon survived the Battle of Culloden. In the aftermath, Jamie was pulled into events involving English attempts to enslave the Scottish survivors. This led to his meeting the Doctor, the mysterious renegade Time Lord, and his two friends Polly Wright and Ben Jackson. After the adventure was over, Jamie accepted an invitation to join the Doctor on his time-traveling space ship, the TARDIS. Jamie went on to have many, many adventures, meeting new friends (including fellow travelers Victoria Waterfield and Zoe Heriot), fighting many monsters (actual and metaphorical), and generally being a force for good throughout time and space. When the Doctor's people caught up with him, Jamie was brought to Gallifrey, where most of his memories of travel with the Doctor were suppressed. Jamie went on to have a largely normal life, though he would occasionally be brought back into the Doctor's sphere, with memories often restored. He went on to have a large family.
